Match Made In Business Heaven: Calendly Launches Extension For LinkedIn
This is not a drill! Online scheduling platform giant, Calendly, just introduced a brand-new extension tool for LinkedIn.
During the early months of 2022, Calendly decided to roll out a new extension that combines the power of Calendly and LinkedIn. This new browser extension can be added to your Firefox or Chrome browser. The extension eliminates the hassle of needing to toggle between multiple websites while trying to schedule calls–how convenient is that!
With the help of this new extension, users can now click on the message compose toolbar within Linked Messaging, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and LinkedIn Recruiter in order to schedule a meeting, look at past scheduled meetings, or even send a Calendly Meeting Poll to your co-workers.
According to Srinivas Somayajula, Calendly’s head of product operations, they designed the browser extension to be the fastest and most convenient way to schedule meetings. “In a world where time is critical and work happens at lightning speed, we’re now meeting users on LinkedIn–one of the most visited platforms by professionals–to help them take their conversations to the next level.”
Many users rely on LinkedIn and Calendly to quickly connect with applicants and potential customers in their respective fields. According to LinkedIn’s February Workforce Report, more than 650,000 firms utilize LinkedIn Talent Solutions to discover, source, and hire new employees. According to LinkedIn’s State of Sales Report, 74% of sales professionals plan to extend their LinkedIn network in the upcoming years. A few clicks are really all it takes to schedule a meeting on LinkedIn with Calendly’s browser extensions, which offer advanced scheduling automation.
In order to get started, Calendly users can add the extension to any Chrome-based browser such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, it is also available for Mozilla Firefox users. After adding the browser extension, users can go to LinkedIn.com, and click on Messaging. A pop-up window will then ask them for permission. After doing all this, the Calendly logo will now show up on your browser’s toolbar for quick and easy access.
In addition to LinkedIn, Calendly also works with more than 100 business apps that are designed to help people, teams, and businesses with their meeting lifecycle needs by integrating with their favorite tools and apps.
The Calendly browser extension is available to all LinkedIn users as of writing this article.
